Value Bears

Celebrating Our Children

We are proud of our children at Springfield and as well as celebrating achievement and sporting success, we feel it is important to celebrate the values and behaviour that they show to adults and each other.

Promoting positive values is an important part of our school community and each class has a ‘Value Bear’ which is given out on a weekly basis to a child who has demonstrated a positive value.  The focus value such as tolerance or patience is chosen by the class and they also choose who deserves the bear in a democratic vote.

The bear is taken home on a Monday and brought back to school on the Tuesday.
