Learning Activities and Adventures
The children made snow globes using recycled bottles, glitter, leaves, pom poms and twigs.
Skills & Learning Highlights
Children learnt about seasonal awareness, fine motor skills placing small objects, open ended design. Science floating, sinking, movement and weather.
Reflections / What We Noticed
The group talked about what items they put in their snow globe and what made theirs different.
Nature Connection / Observations
They discussed what the weather is like in winter and what colours reflected the season.
