On Tuesday 11th November, we held our Remembrance Day Assembly at 10:45 and observed the 2 minute silence as a whole school. During the assembly, Mrs Lambert spoke about the Royal British Legion, their work within the community and why we have to donate to them to help them survive.
As a school from the start of November, we have been selling items on behalf of the Royal British Legion. These included poppies, snap bands, stickers and reflectors. We raised money and the total amount raised was £207.49.
Thank you to all of our children, staff, parents and carers for their donations, the money raised will now go to support the Royal British Legions tireless work in local community.
